Deep Shine Silk Mask Detergent

Designed especially for washing the Drowsy silk sleep mask. Drowsy Deep Shine has been specifically created to enhance and retain the texture of silk fibre. Colours retain their brightness and the silk its softness.
Based on natural ingredients.
240ml / 8.1 Fl. Oz
Dosages are specified for medium water hardness.
Machine Wash:On a silk or delicates cycle at 30°C (86°F) in a delicates wash bag. Add 2 capfuls during the main stage of the washing programme.
Hand Wash:
1 capful for 7-10 I of water. Immerse your silk for approx. 10 minutes in lukewarm water, gently wash, rinse well, squeeze but do not wring. Do not dry near heat or direct sunlight. Iron at low temperature.
Removing Stains:
Put a small amount of Drowsy Deep Shine onto the stained area, allow to soak for about 10 minutes, then wash as normal and do not rub. With this dosage, contents will be sufficient for 24 hand washes or 12 machine washes. Do not tumble dry.

This is a great wash for the silk masks and pillowcases (and other silk products) but it's truly excellent for merino and wool. It keeps them soft and completely neutralizes that "wet wool" smell that some items get after a wash.

I bought this last week as I have had a few silk masks in the past . I usually use Waitrose delicate wash for silks but my masks have lost their shine. This is about three times the price but I decided it was worth it to prolong the life of my masks. I will definitely use this from now on .

I use this for both my silk sleep masks and my pillowcases. I works better than all the previous silk detergents that I have tried as they all seem to eventually take the beautiful sheen off the silk. My masks and pillowcases look brand new.
